Sophia Peony Interview

How long have you been publishing?

I am entering my third year.

Why do you like writing about Organized Crime?

There’s just something about bad boys who value the meaning of family.

Of the books you've published, who is your favorite character?

Leo is really popular with my readers, but if I was to date any of my characters, Reid from Crazy with You would be my guy.

If you could write any genre, what would it be?

Fantasy and adventure.

Since we are talking about the Mafia, what would you have written on your tombstone?

If you had a million dollars to spend, what would you do with it?

Buy a house, pay my student loan off, become a full-time writer.

What is your favorite book of all time?

Almost Heaven by Judith McNaught.

If you had to choose to be a fruit, what fruit would you be?

Have you killed off characters? If so, which one was the hardest to say goodbye to? Which one was the easiest?

I've killed off bad guys, those are easy. I killed off a young woman bad guy in one of my books and I kind of regret it because I could totally have turned her into a long term villain. I'm currently writing one that I feel bad about, but sacrifices must be made.

What is the weirdest thing you've ever googled?

"best place on the body to stab someone with the most bleeding"

No one messed with Logan Slade and lived to tell the tale. Joel Clarion thought he could get away with stealing from him. Now, Logan will turn the tables. He’ll take his money, his ability to make money, his woman, and when he’s lost it all, Logan will take his life.

Trapped in the life of violence, Mia will do whatever it takes to protect her daughter. If it means risking her life to help Logan Slade take down the bane of her existence, she’ll risk it all to give her daughter a chance at a better future.

Keep Up With Sophia

In 6th grade, I wanted to be a singer. In high school, I wanted to be a lawyer, an astronaut and then a house-wife when I thought I was going to marry my high school sweetheart. Then I wanted to be a pilot but found out I was too short to fly. So I decided to become a photographer. When that didn't work out, I decided to be a writer.
